New Ssp pickup

So on Letgo I saw a Forest Green Ssp . The asking price
Was $150. I went to see it this am and it is a code EI 1997
Like new. With all the original charcoal baskets and grates
So after some talking it's in the truck on its way to my house..
My big question is about the 5 lb tank of propane ..
the tank is 20 yrs old is it safe to use? It is still 1/2 full
And how am I going to get it refilled ? The push fitting on it
Is nothing I ever saw except on an air hose.

Nice score. Can’t wait to see pictures. I have taken my 5 lb tank to a local propane filling place. They might require you to get it inspected before getting it filled. I believe there is a company still making these 5 lb tanks but they are pretty expensive.
