What is the best scoop to use for lump charcoal?

I have always just used my hands, so that I get the pieces that are the size and shape that I want. Any pieces that are too big can be broken up, and uncarbonized wood or foreign objects can be removed.
My hands get very messy, though. I rarely remember to put on gloves.

I use my hands. I even use my hands to clean out my bowl and load old charcoal into the chimney.
