What's the age of this one?
« on: August 13, 2017, 02:53:04 PM »
Thumbscrews. MBH. Pre-Patent. Metal wheels and hubcaps.

Best I can do is 1964-1968.

The bowl is pretty rough, only has one original vent, one replacement and missing one completely. One leg socket is loose. A bowl handle is bent, and the lid handle is as well. But it's damn near my age, and that's saying something.

Thanks to @TheDude  for agenting this one. Sorry I couldn't stay for a beverage!

Didn't even notice the thumbscrews. Predates the Manson murders. Brought it home, put in my shed and there she waited for you.

It's "The Statesman" and you're correct with the age. The large bowl tab is out of place (era), but what peeks my interest are the wheel caps. Yours look early period compared to the one I just found. Mine are plastic so maybe mine are replacements or a later model.

Either way, great score, Brian, haeffb from WKC [emoji6].
For everyone else, that last one is a joke between us.

Nice assist @thedude . Well done fella's.

She's looking a little better after a good scrubbing. Still need some parts to finish up.

That's a beauty Brian! 64-68 looks right on. I don't know how you could narrow it down further.

Done! I'll trade you my red 22 MBH for your red 26er. Cool?
