Not a Weber at all, but I picked this up today and thought it was cool enough to share with you all.

Looks neat, unfortunately doesn't look like it will hold much charcoal.

That is cool.  My Dad had one similar to that one.

When I was a little kid there was one like that in our back yard and my Grandparent's yard too.

Haven't seen one of those in years! NICE! Are you gonna use it, or is it a museum piece?
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

I cooked on grills like that in the early 70's, steaks, chicken, burgers and brats. They work good and you don't need alot of charcoal. The grate moves up and down so you can cook fast/burn or slow/raw. It's good to have the back stop to block the wind or ash blows up from the pan/bowl. No one wants people to say "your chicken tastes like ash". Never had the Roti but I think that makes the package better.

Man oh man . . . that was a step up from the one we had back then.  Instead of the center shaft, we had three stamped metal pieces that clipped in along the edge of the grill.  The grate had three extensions that would lay on those metal pieces and you lifted or lowered the grill to change your distance from the coals.

Yours definitely brings back memories of what a "backyard barbecue" used to mean ! ! !

It's a cool looking grill... but that Pansy Blue Ribbon sign in the background is awesome!
