Started out as brand new Uline Lime and Copper SJ. Drilled holes on both brand new bowls to accept lid holder bale assy., and deleted ash disc to make it look like SJG. Bowl vent location unchanged.  Thanks to Zav for these beautiful handles with metal inserts. The main reason for doing this conversion was to add these SJG Zav Zebra and Walnut burl handles.

Now that I converted these SJ into SJP replica.... more Lime (C&B) and new Copper ( different shade ) SJ followed me home.

Those look great. Love the handle choices. Makes me want to try it out on my uline green.

Thanks! I am pleased with how they turned out. I just love the look.  What I have here both started out as brand new uline SJs.

Thanks! @ kettlebb.

@ Al b que - any parts can be bought from here. http://www.ereplacementparts.com/weber-40004-smokey-joe-goldplatinumtuckncarry-grill-parts-c-193079_193086_193155.html

Hard to take good pics when cloudy and raining. Testing pics in low light condition with my other 2 SJP.

Black SJP with Zav Tiger Maple wood. Nice contrast to the dark kettle. No screw hole in the middle to interrupt nice pattern going on the wood.

Crimson with Koa.

Grass Green (C&B) SJ all cleaned up on the left.
