Anyone ever use these?

I couldn't resist picking it up.

No, haven't used those, but I have used cast iron cooking grates. Cant leave them dirty and expect to burn them off next time you cook, or they will rust out. Cast iron is nice to cook on, but requires a little care. But I guess you know that.

Yeah, I have had CI in the past with craycort and coincidentally I sold them off.  I just couldn't resist with this.  Who knows in a year I may sell these.....

I cooked Chicken on them the day I got them and I tell you, I loved the results.  They are very nice.

Get a good brush and clean when hot....

Tiniest caveat is that you certainly feel the weight when moving the Kettle....

They look really nice! I don't know how i feel about the curved bars, but I really like the single grate with hinges and handles...

mattlillis73

I really like the look. I'm going to have to add this to my never ending list.

I would assume that the grates come pre-seasoned. Do you have to re-season them routinely? I'm looking into eventually investing in some Craycourt grates.

The theory behind the curved bars is that you can
slide a spatula at any angle and not have it dive and snag
between the bars.  On straight bars if you come in
perpendicular you some times snag the bars.
Nappy has done that on their gassers since the beginning.
