Got some of the kettles out of the garage for a family pic this past weekend. Excuse the leaves and dirty garage door. Also, you may note the 26" is leaning. I am working with Weber to see if it is covered by the warranty. Not in the pic is a copper SJ (still in the box), an 18.5 and 22.5 WSM and my Summit gas grill.
Over the past five years or so, I have probably bought and sold over 30 grills, including the ones still in my possession. It all started when I was researching grills before moving into a house. I had a gas/charcoal grill but wasn't very happy with it. Ended up picking up a OTS for $20 from a garage sale. Ironically enough, I had always thought of Webers as cheap throwaway grills. Boy was I wrong. Over the years I have gotten many of my friends into Webers and grilling as well.
As I read more about Webers, I discovered this site and the history of Webers. Much to my wife's dismay, I started collecting them. She constantly pushes me to get rid of some, but she appreciates the food I make for the fam.
