MY MODIFED KETTLE
« on: July 22, 2017, 09:23:43 AM »
Recently I posted that I bought a premium Weber kettle grill.   However I made a few modifications.

My kettle before my modifications.

Added a hinge from Island Outdoor LLC, that was pretty easy to add.

Added a bigger temperature gauge.

Added a probe port from St Louis BBQ store.

Added a seal in the inside of the lid.

Bought a Slow & Sear from Adrenaline BBQ Company.

Had some handles made out of maple from AML Woodart.

Trying out my kettle after my modifications.

Will the probe port fit two Smoke brand probes through it together?

Awesome mods!
I haven't seen anybody put one of those hinges on a kettle, only seen them on WSMs.
