Old Weber GA and Kettle documents

I found the following documents at my late Grandfathers house and I thought you all might like to see some of the Australian Weber documents from the late 70's and early 80's.
1) "Benefits of Barbecuing the Weber Kettle way".
@Hogsy
thinks it may have been produced by Ross McDonald, the Australian distributor, and was just stamped with the local distributor's details.
2) "Weber Portable Table-Top Grill". This booklet is copyright 1979 and belongs to the Brown 'A' code GA that we found. The second half of the booklet, which I haven't scanned, was printed in French!
I have these available in higher res and as PDF if an admin would like a copy to upload.
Enjoy

That is very interesting. Might have to try some of this on my WGA. Thanks for sharing!

I don't know if the USA kettles in the early 80's came with particular instructions but the following 3 pages were included with all Australian kettles of that period. This copy belongs to the Brown 'C' code 22" kettle that we found.

I wonder how this compares to Weber US literature from the same period. Thanks!

Interesting that the amount of "heat beads" required for indirect cooking is different from what Weber recommends in their 1980's manual. My 1980 Weber owners manual recommends 25 briquettes per side on a 22" kettle. The next line explains that heat beads cook more rapidly than American briquettes. Are heat beads also a different size?

with a 1980's Weber owners manual you can compare it to.
