I know the question was other than yellows, but just had to throw a yellow comparative photo in.  Left kettle is heated, right kettle is cold.

Having 2 rare colored mbh to compare in real time is a luxury not afforded to many I'm guessing. Certainly not me yet [emoji3][emoji106]

MY C/B Grass Green gets darker when I get it heated up.  I like the cold color better if I had to choose.

Crimson looks like a plum when it's real hot

First time I saw my red change... I was blown away. I knew it would happen, but couldn't believe how much and how fast. My brother's gen 2 crimson performer definitely gets darker when hot.

Crimsons get darker. Pictured below. Hot crimson.

My 74-75 lime turns a nice dirty booger yellow when super heated. But my lime also has a slightly pastel lime hue to it compared to later limes when cold.

1978 Dark Green 22 Cold vs hot. It turns an Army green/olive drab when screaming hot. You can really tell the difference in person.

COLD/AT REST.

HOT

Can you get some pics next time? I've been curious how the newer kettles change colors.

Hey Craig that is one beautiful green grill.  Wow!  Very nice.  I have green 18" OTG  and it is not as deep of a green as yours.
