Bone in skin on chicken breast
« on: July 02, 2017, 05:38:39 AM »

Cooked them for 45 min to an hr. Basted with homemade BBQ sauce every 10-15 min.

Cooked them to temp.

Came out juicy and delicious.

Thanks, but to be honest, my wife's taco soup was the favorite of the night.

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Taco Soup:

Brown 2 lb ground beef with onion

Sautéed 2 bell peppers and 1 jalapeño separate

Large soup pot mix together sautéed vegetables and ground beef and one pack of taco seasoning.

Add 2 cans of bushes chili beans 1 can of kidney beans one can of corn one can of beef broth 2 tblsp of tomato paste. Tsp of cumin salt and pepper to taste.

Bring to boil then allow to simmer for 30 min.

Serve plain or with sour cream and rice.

Bone in skin on chicken:

Set up grill for indirect heat.

Season with favorite seasoning (I use Weber Beer can Chicken)

Brush your favorite BBQ sauce over the breasts.

Season again

Place chicken on grill.

I baste and season every 10-15 to form a nice crunchy skin.

Cook to temp. 165 degrees.

Let set for 10 min and serve.
