You can get the hubcaps at Ace or Lowe's. They should be nickel plated. The Hillman brand match perfectly.

Nice!  Don't mess with those hubcaps they are  the originals.  Weber started using the black plastic in 1968.  I have a NOS 1968 thumbscrew with the same caps.  They are sealed in the original plastic.
