Came across a Woodard cart and grill (I guess)

It's a two rivet.

As you can see they painted the
Lid vent and all.  Thankfully
the handle was left alone.
Shouldn't be too hard to remove
that insult.
Can't see it in the pic but it is an "A" date code.

Looks like I pick it up Thursday evening.

Fire it up. Paint razors off a lot easier hot.

That's what I heard.
Then follow up with 000 or 0000 steel wool.
Someone sprung the vent wheel so I may drill out the rivet
and reshape it over a bowling ball.

Picking up tomorrow.
They close before I get off work today.

Finally!  It's home.
Family issues caused some timing
snags but it worked out.

Now the resto starts.

The bottom vents are almost perfect.
No damage to the stops at all.
Bottom has no rust at welds.
I got the top vent freed up and it's
very smooth.
Have to address the bent handle
and there is some cancer at the handle welds.

I would love to be able to havevthe cart dipped,
blasted and powder coated
but for now we go old school.

But first, we're gonna do some steaks on it
this weekend!
