Weber and BGE set up
« on: June 13, 2017, 06:28:00 PM »
Picked up the performer on Monday and got her cleaned up and in the action tonight. Feel like I got a pretty sweet deal at $100.00.

Could get the temp above 350 degrees as I wanted to reverse sear some fillet mignon tonight.  Fire was close to the grate so it was okay, will invest in a vortex to help control high heat focused in the center.

So far the BGE and Weber make a pretty cute couple.

You got a great deal for that Performer!

But alas, the Weber and BGE are distant cousins from different sides of the tracks..
The Weber is a workhorse and the BGE is a high maintenance spoiled brat!
Lol
