This is about the third time that I've tried to cold call to get this Grill. This time I sent my wife to the door who has a much friendlier face and demeanor than myself. But she struck out also. She just said she does not want to sell it and some other guy asked about it before. Oh well, I guess it'll just rust there forever.

I'm sure if you flash out an excess of cash she will part with it. what are these worth? I assume a couple hundred depending on condition

What do old ladies like? Sparkly jewelry? Gift certificates to the beauty parlor? Find something she is into and offer a trade.

Looking for: Red MBH 26"(The Aristocrat), Chestnut-coppertone (The Estate), Glen-blue (The Imperial), and The Plainsman.

Hell Fire Grill

Next time you knock on the door have a hand full of greenbacks, and some flowers or cookies, showing and maybe she'll talk.

Keep her talking or listening and discuss preserving it for historical purposes and the rarity of it.

Dont give up!

You can't always get what you want....but if you try sometimes you get what you need

Reminds me of an old lady back home. She had a low mileage 1950's Corvette in her open car port that had not moved since her son died in Vietnam.
She wouldn't sell the car and would chase you off with a shot gun at times.  In the late 90's she had bugler bars install around the car port. I could still see bits of the car protruding amongst all the piled boxes.
All belongings were included with sale of house when she died. Whom ever bought that house found a surprise hidden under the boxes of stuff.

Bummer to get shot down, looks nice!

I know what will happen to it.. It will rust out and turn into a flower pot. I saw a nice red weber in a yard with flowers planted in it when I was on a bike ride the other day after a storm blew through.
