Top grate?

I saw this at a goodwill tonight. I can't figure out if this is one of those add on shelves or if it's completely unrelated to grilling. Any ideas?

I went back to see if it was there today and it was so I grabbed it.

I believe its for a Kamado grill.

I thought it was this one but the dimensions didnt match up.

I tried a magnet on it and it doesnt stick so I think its stainless? Its pretty heavy too and never been used.

I sat it on my 22" and it's too tall, cant put the lid on. (please forgive my messy grill, needs a spring cleaning) I'm going to play around with it but if I decide to get rid of it I'll let you know zavod44.
