Rainy day plan
« on: April 29, 2017, 10:26:50 AM »
Was hoping to put this pork butt on the new WSM, but weather isn't going to cooperate for a long, outdoor cook. So this is Plan B. In about 24 hours, I'll put it on the kettle to get some bark.

I've propped a lawn chair in front of this thing and popped open a cold one, but it just don't feel the same.

Rain didn't get in my way.  Webers do have lids.

Rain is one thing. What the Midwest has gotten the last 36+ hours, almost warrants building an arc.

Out of the bag and into the kettle. Added some more rub. If the juice from the bag is any indication, we're lookin' good.
