Burgundy Appreciation
« on: April 24, 2017, 09:54:24 PM »
Ok, let's not get confused folks, burgundy kettles only. For the plum lovers head over here: http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/index.php?topic=26106.0

For the sceptics, yes there is a difference as shown here the 18" Burgundy on the left, plum 22" on the right.

I'll kick off with my recent acquisition, a 22" OTG in fantastic condition, complete with custom handles from you know who Thanks for looking

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

Bear, you've got me scratching my bald head. Living in the land of burgundy and gold what you're calling burgundy looks nothing like what the redskins wear. And what you're showing looks more plum/maroon. Please to explain

I aquired a rather rough Burgundy recently...decided to fabricate some brackets and put it to other use....
Before...

After...

So far I'm liking it. It seems to turn more brown when it's hot.

That's quite an upgrade.  It made it a real stunner!

Maybe I'M the one who is confused.

Perhaps @pbe gummi bear can shed some light on this, the first picture in the OP was his.

Additionally, there was a picture somewhere on the forum showing the color name on the box of a burgundy kettle, I think it was posted by @hogsy but I couldn't find it.

@Bertl . From the pics that looks like it might be Plum, not Burgundy.
