I contacted the seller. No pics because she doesn't have a smartphone. She claims it's in really good condition. It's not a cado or ranch, but if someone's in the neighborhood it could be a good pickup.

Someone should check it out for sure, could be a steel....

Only because you both insisted. Seller's claim was correct.  Really nice "Brave" 1969-70 Pat Pending. Seller was the original owner and it has been caddywhompus for 47-48 years. Really nice retired couple, now living in a retirement community that does not allow BBQing. This kettle has been stored in a garage for the last 10 years and very sparsely used prior to that.  She and her husband were enthralled when I told them there is a club for Weber kettle enthusiasts.  When I mentioned we were having a picnic in June, the wife asked if they could attend.  Having kept this kettle in such great shape for 45+ years, I think they qualify.

Awesome pick up! Congrats. She was really nice in the quick email convo we had. Old people are so genuine on the internet. Glad this grill went to a member. I would be really attached to a grill after 47 years and want to see it go to a good home. Haha.

Nice! That won't take much work to make it look like a NOS. Congrats! another beauty score.

Wow, like new condition.  It would be nice to cook them something on it at the picnic.
