I have 22.5s available. Working on 26.75s now. I8.5s are also possible, but need to have more made.

Thanks you, these look as though there for fitting to a performer type frame.
Will they also work if fitting to a wooden frame?
Wil they be enough space between grill and wood so not to coarse burn/scorch marks?

Ive displayed these on my fb page Weber Grill Tables as many request for this type of bracket, but this is the only one ive seen.

Spacing is the same as the Performer. I can't vouch for how much heat would transfer to a wood table. I suppose my guy could make them wider, but by that time you might as well go full custom. If I were building a wood table, I'd figure out a way to add a heat shield to edges close to the bowl, like the Sequoia.

How do these mount to your bowl?  I assume one must drill a couple holes each side??

Take an Canadian Ivory and make it a performer??

Yes - two holes per side. Standard 1/4-20 bolts do the trick. The top surface of the bracket sits 1" below the top of the bowl rim. Nothing to it. Any Master Touch would make an excellent candidate, but you can also use them to mount a WSM bowl to a Performer frame. Unless you lower the frame on a 22.5, the WSM will sit very high. On the 18.5 it's just perfect.

Adding gas assist has been done. Here's how:

Nothing wrong with going gasless. I use the Weber starter cubes half the time anyway. Saves me from having to remember to turn off the gas. Too many times I've burnt through half a chimney letting the gas go too long. Hate when that happens.

I'll second 56 in saying the gas is nice but in no way necessary. I use cubes most of the time now and it doesn't take me any longer to get cooking.

True I was just curious

I like to be different so gas assist won't be a deal breaker if I can have an Ivory or Smoke gen2 performer on Mud tires!

That's very cool.

I agree with the others. Gas assist is ok, but lighter cubes are more convenient in some ways imo.
