There's two different coppers, original bed bath/ Sam Adams/performer copper and uline copper. That's pretty subtle though.

Similarly, 80s "true" gray and crate & barrel gray are definitely 2 different colors.

Chestnut Coppertone is also called "boobie pink"
I think spring green is also referred to as crate and barrel green.

If you go to fades, you have red. I believe all brownies and plainsman (white whales) are fades.

I'm not sure how you categorize the Westerner, but that can be added too.

Correct about the Copper.  Reg. Copper is lighter in color. Uline is much darker and brighter in color. 2 totally different color in my view.  But, Spring Green is not same as the C&B green known as Grass Green.

If you want, I can take some comparo pics.  I think I already have a Spring Green,C&B Green, and Uline Green lid comparison pic somewhere.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but what would be the color name for this? It is a grill I am looking to pick up in my area for pretty cheap.

Thanks.

That's a fine looking red MT there! Go get it!

We call it a red fade here, but Weber would only refer to it as red. This one has a nice deep almost burgundy fade to it, some are not as pronounced. When it get's hot, the entire lid may end up the darker color.

I thought Weber called it Red Mist.

Which colors are currently sold?  I know the new performers come in black, green, copper, crimson (through True Value), and blue (through Crate and Barrel).  Any others?

GrillGuyMosier

what would a dark red from 1993 be called?  its about the same as the dark section of my red mist.

Which kettle is turquoise? I don't recall seeing that color on a box or in a catalog.

Yes, turquoise was similar to Blue Wave but a slightly different shade. I think it was only offered as a Smokey Joe and maybe a Compact Kettle in the UK. The UK did do several exclusive colors on Compacts over the years, one was called 'Deep Turquoise' and another 'Lagoon Blue'. Deep Turquoise had a lot of green in it from memory but I tried googling it but nothing comes up. The product code was 61674. A very small image of the lagoon Blue (21874) comes up on google but only on the search page, the article itself is too old and they have archived the images
