Does anyone have any news on this? I can't get shit for information from either Weber in Canada or the US!!! I'm told by some retailers that they need to be ordered by tomorrow.  I've heard that these will be available in Canada, but Weber or any of the Canadian Alliance dealers don't know.  My buddy called Weber customer service to order a 26" grate and asked about the topper. They had no clue either!!!

What the heck is going on here??

My dealer got conflicting information on it several times. A couple of us have deposits and orders from in.

It makes no sense for Weber to offer a limited edition grill, spend money to research it, time to design unique features,  eventually promote it, then only to make it next to impossible for people that want it, to be able to find it to buy it.  It will be available to anyone that has a couple hundred bucks in their pocket... No doubt about that.  I'll be one if them.

I am confident that if Weber has this thing planned and worked out correctly.... all of us who want one should be able to both in US and in Canada regardless if you signed and payed deposit or not.

See, this is what is bothering me! I've only heard from Patio World that this has to be ordered by tomorrow. But then I have to pay for it, and then have to pay for shipping to me. One would think that Weber would want to share information & get the buzz out for this.

Well then something sucks. As it stands, I'll buy one for sure, perhaps 2. My friend wants 2 for sure. Weber has given better lead times before. We want to spend our money... but we need something official!

I talked to my Ace Hardware owner today.  He actually sent me the screenshot of the order screen for the topper limited edition.  What he said is he has to preorder basically now in order to get them but he thinks he has until the end of the month.  This is slated to be on the National AD for November for ACE hardware.  SO I think I would go to my local Ace hardware and make sure they get me one preordered.  Not sure if you guys north of the border have Ace hardware though

I will try and ad the image from the order screen granted it could be generic but there is something weird on the lid

Who did you talk to did they seem wholely competent??  Granted maybe they're preordering several but my guy made it sound like he only had one shot to order these in. And I do know that season ad stuff is about 6 months out
