Looks like the kettle is floating...😎

Just the lighting.  Here is another pic of the same kettle under diff. lighting.

You did a great job of capturing the color in the first pic!

How did you get that? Please share the details.

^^^You got more tacos than I can shake a stick at there GreenDude. Is it one of the new Reds or is it a spray painted Copper from Eastern Europe? You're killing me man.

It is my new red kettle with black handles and other parts from the Master Touch spare parts I put together based on the features described. I suspect that the kettle coming in Nov. will look exactly like it. 50/50 chance on the black out wheel caps rather than red shown. Also, the special edition topper logo will be inside the thermo is what I am thinking.

Thanks! I tried.  The pic you said look like it is floating is with a flash on.

Just encase some of you might be wondering..... I took the pics and the image loaded here without using any types of image-editing software.  The pics you see is what my camera captured taking pics of the kettle I have.

@greenweb can we see the thermometer?

The thermo is just a reg. one. When released in Nov. I am thinking the special ed. topper logo thermo will be on it.

I know what you are thinking or doubting. I am in no way affiliated with Weber special team in creating this kettle coming in Nov. I am just one of us curious bunch who want to see what it really looks like in person and putting one together based on the feature description.

I contacted Hastybake in Tulsa this morning. The woman in customer service said they were getting the red grills. She took my name and number and said she would let me know any details she receives. She said they should get several in of anyone is close to there. Might give her a call and get on the list.

I'm sure a bunch of us will be watching closely how this all unfolds.
I put my order and money down for mine.

What will be interesting is :

If Weber truly makes it so that only what was ordered initially by the stores that are offering it will be available or if suddenly anyone can get them long after they are released.
If the Big Box stores have them on shelves for people to buy who didn't place an order six months in advance.

I'm not getting the Ivory MT in Canada partly because I want to support this effort in the States and my local Alliance dealer.

How Weber handles the release of this grill will speak a great deal about how they value their small mom and pop Alliance dealers and if they are in fact listening to the enthusiasts like ourselves that have been clamoring for Limited editions like the ones offered in Europe and Canada.

You are a wise man @ harris92.  :D :D :D

Some members are questioning if I actually have the real red se kettle to be released later this year. Ah! No. Since Weber did not released actual pic of the kettle yet, I put together my brand new red (crimson) with MT parts to create one to visually see what it might look like in person. I used vivid mode on my camera to brighten up the pic. Camera pics were than loaded up here without any enhancement.

Sorry for the confusion it has created. It was never meant to be a trickery or a joke. I believe, I clearly stated that this was something I put together on my own using my new red kettle.  :D :D :D    Did not mean to, but hopefully, I have created more interested in this upcoming red kettle and you all like what you see.

"I took the pics and the image loaded here without using any types of image-editing software" You used the image-editing software in the camera to brighten up the red. If you didn't want to trick us you could have said It is my new crimson instead of "It is my new red kettle with black handles and other parts from the Master Touch spare parts" I was going to ask where did you get a new red kettle? Did you have it shipped from the UK? How did you get the red hub caps? You tricked us by withholding information. If you sent this on April 1st  we could have let this slide, but now we're going to have to place you on club suspension. We will have to watch you closely from now on greenweb. lol.

greenweb

LOL!   @TD- I am sorry if you got into thinking that I had exact same fire engine red se kettle coming later. UK don't have the same one either, so how would I get the same one.  Red hub caps were red tape.  I could have also painted them.

As for the pic image being changed using an editing software, I meant photoshop- alter digitally using Photoshop image-editing software like Adobe's photo editing to alter loaded pic.  As for using different mode on the camera like Portrait, low light, close-up, vivid....etc mode to enhance pic does not called out as a photoshopped like the original weber pic shown.  Important thing for me was to show real red kettle to show how upcoming red se would look( minus slight variation on the actual color red) and not photoshopped using my Copper Master Touch.

It's all good. Appreciate the post. It was really nice to see what one would look like. Hope they are that nice when they get here.

Does anyone have any news on this? I can't get shit for information from either Weber in Canada or the US!!! I'm told by some retailers that they need to be ordered by tomorrow.  I've heard that these will be available in Canada, but Weber or any of the Canadian Alliance dealers don't know.  My buddy called Weber customer service to order a 26" grate and asked about the topper. They had no clue either!!!

What the heck is going on here?????
