Thanks to @Kneab for the tip this morning I picked up this lime performer at an estate sale 20 minutes from my house.  I was a little nervous that I would miss out on it since the sale started at 9am and I did not get there till a little after 10 but lucky for me it was still there.  Its a 2010 model so I am hoping its still under warranty and has not been registered before.  The only thing wrong with it is the gas assist does not work.  I checked it out and it look like the gas valve is toast.  It came with a bunch of goodies including, a cover that is not great but its usable, a chimney is good shape, a couple cleaning brushes, the charcoal baskets that look like they have only been used a couple times.  It also came with some charcoal in the bin but its match light which I dont use, and some lighter fluid that I also dont use.  They were asking $150 for it and I hoped to get it for $125 but she said she had three calls on it so I just paid the $150 and took it home.  Not a crazy deal but I think it was worth it.  The kettle looks to be about perfect but pretty dirty.  The rest will look like new with a good cleaning which has already started.

I think you did well on it as it's complete and I'm good shape.
"Have you hugged your Weber today?"

I'd go $150 on that all day every day. That's one that I have the go ahead from the wife on.

Thanks all.  I can't believe how well it's cleaning up.  I have not tackled the lid yet but the bowl looks brand new.  I am thinking about swapping the kettle into my gen 2 frame and possibly selling my blue kettle in this frame.  Decisions, decisions.

Nice job on the bowl. Looks so clean. If you like the gen 2 better.... it should be easy decision. If it was me, I do the same. Swap!  Actually, I would keep both green and blue.  :)

I could also sell the OTP that I recently picked up and put the blue at our camping property.  The OTP was supposed to go there but I like the height of the performer better.  The gas assist is also a plus.

The one I got just like it was the most I'd spent on one to date,  was a must have. Absolutely gorgeous. If possible, slap the metal table on it and have yourself an awesome cooking machine for decades!

Nice score Jeepin79. That kettle sure did clean up nice. It sure is nice of others like Kneab in this case to share there finds with others. That's why I like this place.
