I like how the fan sits above the ash sweeper and just below the charcoal grate. Can't do that on a 22".

You can't see it but that's exactly where I mount my BBQ Guru PartyQ.

This was my brisket from this past weekend.  It was a 13.5 lbs. Love the SNS XL / cyberq combo.

I have a IQ130 and I run it on my 22" all the time. I've recently began using it with my SNS and it's a great combo as it allows me to monitor things from my phone and make temp adjustments

I noticed the guru has a fan deflector that points the air toward the coal, does the iq have one or does it blow str8 up at your food? Do you foil your charcoal grate?

Smoked 2 briskets and a turkey with the cyber q on the 26er now man i love it. But my question to you is do you close your exhaust completely or do you leave it open? Do you fill the water in your slow n sear or smoke dry?

2x2 snake in the 26 with both vents open will get you 225-250.  Snake all the way around will get you 10 or 11 hours easy.  No need for that fancy stuff really.

Good advice...just got a 26" Premium and looking to do a Brisket and was wondering how about to go do it for a low and slow without much maintenance.

using the iq how long does the SnS run before you have to add fuel, do you foil the unused charcoal rack?

I start out by lighting about a dozen coals in one corner till ashed over then I top it off and add boiling water to the reservoir.

Yes, I do foil the unused rack which makes for better efficiency.

Blows straight up but the grate is foiled so all air goes up thru SNS.  Also keep in mind it feeding small amounts of air intermittently and not blowing a steady stream of air.
