Performer frame
« on: February 27, 2017, 09:02:26 AM »
Picking this up Thursday

Comes with frame including metal table, Charcoal bin and the cover. The guy I'm buying it from built a gorgeous wood table and used the fast assist from this unit.  Anyone got a part number for the gas assist assembly?

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

great start to a project! I can't wait to see what you do with it. My vote is for a colored MT or 22.5"wsm retrofit.

Parts:

Regulator: http://www.ereplacementparts.com/regulator-assembly-p-1477523.html

Burner/igniter: http://www.ereplacementparts.com/burner-assembly-p-1477522.html

Out of curiosity, is retrofitting these worth the $65 to you?

I'm probably going to swap a bunch of stuff around. Cleaning up a DR Code Grey second gen Crate and Barrel Performer right now so the metal table will most likely be gong on this once I get it cleaned up

That frame should be equipped with the new style rubberized wheels. Could swap them onto that gen 2 as well. They are so much nicer and they'll take the uncle al whitewalls.

I didnt realize how much charcoal was left in the bowl when I picked it up a couple months ago. What's nice about the second gen performers is that they have the stainless ash sweeps.
With all the leftover spent Charcoal the bottom of the bowl was the easiest to clean.

I really like the look of the grey on a black second gen frame with the metal table?

Grey looks great in both Gen2 and SSP. Nice clean up. It should look awesome with a metal table.
