I scored a Homer thanks to Greg's quick eye. Not in too bad a shape...

I didn't have the heart to tell the guy about the legs.

Decent sized ding in the bowl, but otherwise in good shape, including the ash catcher assembly.

Lid slightly pushed in, shouldn't be too hard to push back in place. The paint near the handle isn't as well off.

She's been rode hard, but in safe hands now.  :D
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

Nice score, Chad!  You are on fire!

Yeesh, get those legs set aright, and that triangle right-side-up ASAP!  Some of use get a visceral reaction when we see Weber stuff all discombobulated like that.  It's like fingernails on a chalkboard.  ;)
One of the charcoal people.

Welcome to the club man!  Looking good!

Was this the $35 dollar one?

Never mind, I figured it out.

Hmm, missed the $35 one. Where was this?

I was hoping the guy would say something as I was carrying it across the parking lot. Something like "Why don't you just use the wheels and pull it"? Sadly he didn't.

Yes, there will be no more riding on Homer from here on out. Will be a cooker though.

Love that yellow!
I don't care that its not a vintage yellow and I don't care that it has Homer on it

I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

I've often thought they missed an opportunity to have even more fun with this model, and use a more distinctive vent date code:

Nice score Chad!

I'm pretty happy about this one. I didn't think I'd score a Homer around here for a decent price and in okay condition. I do know of several that belong to a guy in WI who collects all things Simpsons. I'm stil working on him for an SJS Homer.
