is the only word to describe today. thanks to @dazzo I got a new to me 18 bowl.

while down there I found this......

pat pending faded black

there's very minimal rust all the vents work wood handle is a little rough and the ash pan has seen better days.

but besides finding a beautiful pat pending, what was inside blew my mind

a corn and tater ring!! got to be kidding right? the reason I think this to be so awesome is because I only paid 5 bucks [emoji15]

my first plan for this grill was to trade it for a logoed one from someone but now that iv really looked at it , it's kinda my favorite at the moment mostly cuz it's 16-17 years older than me. but I guess if that right logo design comes around I'll let it go

@LiquidOcelot - dude...holy crap....that may be the best fade pattern on a lid I have ever seen:

Bloody gorgeous man. If you ever want to get rid of it drop me a PM.

I dub it The Great Speckled Bird:

I must admit, that is one of the coolest faded blacks I've seen.

Yeah that's awesome!
I've never seen one fade like that, makes it really unique
I wonder it this one was just caught in an earlier stage of the fade then others we've seen?
Anyway really cool and looks to be in great shape too, congratulations!

Very cool. I so wish that Vintage Webers weren't so hard to come by down here in the south.
