As most of us, I have a daily (ok usually multiple) searches for 'Weber' on Craigslist, eBay, etc. In additional to searching my town, I look where I have family in case an acquisition is necessary.

Well my father struck Gold, um copper, and found this beauty thanks to my diligent efforts.

Thanks to my dad, my affection and awareness of Weber was established growing up. He would only buy Weber grills (especially the 90's gassers that were worth a damn).

He has a daisy wheel kettle I've cooked on. But in my own arsenal are all one touch, less WSM. So after experiencing a cook with a daisy wheel  I insisted he needs to catch up with he times and get a sweep set up. He said once the right comes along let me know and I'll consider it. Not necessarily a score, but I woulda also paid $175 for this beauty; especially since it came with a new cover.

Yeah that dark metal would be sweet. Once it cracks or gets stained badly I'll let my pops know

He's gonna love it, and it won't be too bad for you too when you cook at his house

The copper is always nice on any type of kettles. He is going to appreciate the versatility of table and a gas assist.

That is the kettle that I might have to put on my CB Lime frame someday if I find it.

Grate looking grill.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Nice! The Copper is the only "new" (U.S.) color I like a lot.
