Red OTS gets the nod when a 2nd kettle is needed. Which is often. Target copper is the home of the roti. The 18" WSM gets the call for most smokes. There are a few others that work their way into the rotation.

For turkeys and chicken on the rotisserie, my bought new in  1999 (EE code) redhead fade is my go to girl. Also for ribs, country pork ribs and chicken pieces.



For steaks, salmon, pork chops and smoking red potatoes, my 1990 (M code) OTP with added ash catcher is the one.

This 2nd generation Performer (frame) was my very first Craigslist purchase and has been my go-to as long as I have owned it. It has seen several kettle swaps, as well as the metal table upgrade. By far, the copper kettle has been my favorite. The Birdseye Maple handle, that I got from @zavod44 , finishes it of nicely...
