Not the bulb I thought it was!

That's why I asked - the size of the bulb's envelope hinted at some serious wattage there...  It took me a couple of minutes to realize that the dark spots on the garage beneath it were the shadows cast by the wheels at the bottom of the barbecue.  Very nicely done!

Its an experimental prototype that I designed to be cooler than the current materials being used. I hope to start selling them on Ebay at the beginning of the year.

Dang, I could use those wheels on that light. Very creative though, nice job!

I'm not surprised that the light output to the ground sucks. The reflector is too high from the bulb and the shape sucks. There is too much light escaping in every direction but down.

Heres another one I made back in 2010.

I really like the smokey joe light.
I plan on making a few in the spring out of smokey joe lids like the ones I saw in Brian's backyard at the 2016 meetup. I plan on using the bowls for pepper planters for making ABT's.

It was Brian's lights that inspired me to make my SJ light. Maybe we can get @zavod44 to post up his lights here.

All Weber lights are welcome here.
