Not directly Weber related

My dad has converted two gas grills to charcoal. He really enjoys smoking on them. I am looking for some ideas that I can get him for Christmas that he can use. I have already given him a Maverick thermometer and I have already got a instant read thermometer for him. He likes his current setup so a new grill isn't really an good option...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

You can't go wrong with accessories, one that I highly recommend is the slow and sear from @ABCbarbecue , it is great for grilling and for smoking.  Many videos on youtube if you want to check it out.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Would a slow n sear work in a non kettle grill. He has two old cargriller gas grills that he now uses as charcoal grills and is very happy with his performance with them. Otherwise I would get him a kettle and I still might try to convert him. He likes his former gassers so much that he was going to take my grandfather's old PK grill to the dump. Fortunately I was able to get it before that happened.

I am hoping for a slow n sear for my kettle.

How about a couple nice full bone in ribeye's. Fire up the grill, hang out for the evening, maybe a good beer or wine with dinner.

A couple of charcoal baskets would be sweet as well it the grills are large enough.

Maybe a couple of firebricks in his stocking for zone cooking  :P

A nice griddle?  Lots of room on a converted gasser.

What about a cold smoker? The Amazen Pellet Smoker would make a great gift imo.

I like these ideas.
Also you could do a stocking with a bunch of not expensive stuff like Weber starter cubes, a Rub you really like, some welders gloves, a great set of tongs.
