So I talked to Weber today. The Simpsons grill was delivered to Jim Stephen (George's son). Hopefully he is as happy with his end of the deal as I am with mine. Hope to have some pics soon.

I had a Simpsons SJ, sold it on ebay for 50 plus shipping. Didn't know at the time what I had and I only paid 15.00 for it at a second hand store and it was still in the box. If someone on here purchase a Simpson SJ about 5 or 6 yrs ago from Troy ny that was mine.

At the time I was only collecting Smokey Joes , Since then I'm liking the 18's & 22's and... Weberitis is a wonderful thing.

I think they should have made you a Copper Ranch Kettle! Oh, well as least it will be on display for folks to see. It must cost a fortune to change colors on one of the Weber production lines. And you know Copper 26's wouldn't sell, so they would loose money. I can't figure Weber. They just keep on producing the same old thing(at least here in the states). They won't make us colored kettles, but they can go off on the Summit Charcoal boondoggle. Wonder what the sales figures look like on those.
