I'm going to wait for spring and then get a set of whitewalls from @UncleAl
She really is beautiful. I can't believe how pretty she is in person. Pictures don't capture the metallic like properties of the blue paint. It's like a cobalt blue.
I too have noticed that some photos don't capture the awesomeness of the blue kettles.
Now I accept that the color of some blues are different from each generation of blue porcelain, but I have also noticed the difference in my own photos.
I recently acquired a blue kettle, and I have been frantically taking pics on sunny days trying to get that perfect angle that truly shows off the color, with no success.
Here is an example of what I get. Yes, they are different kettles, but same generation (I think). No, not mine.
Anyone else have more beautiful kettles in real life than pictures sometimes show? Other colors?
