Craig. I fully understand your concerns. Please know that I only set it there to dry it in the sun and take a pic!!  Otherwise none of my lids touch concrete.   I appreciate the concerns.

I should have left it alone. I didn't mean for that to come off as if to pile on or call you out. If it came off that way, I apologize. At the end of the day, you got yourself one hell of a nice Wood Dale! Love it, use it and create more stories for it to tell in the coming years.

Cheers

Thanks Craig.  It's all good. No harm done.  Now that I re-read my post, I did not even realize I used exclamation points in the post. I was not upset but I think my response came off that way. We are all looking out for the best interest of these beautiful grills. Have a good night.

That is a beautiful grill.  The brown/chestnut/copperish ones are my favorites.

I had the same thought! Glad to hear that it was only temporary (and taken the right way).

Grate score! Thanks for sharing it.  What's the first cook going to be?

KevinP

Hi jkolantern. Thanks. I think the first cook will be some beef short ribs and some chicken legs this weekend!!
