Author Topic: Using The Upper Deck To Warm Up a Chicken Pot Pie and Smoke Some Pork Ribs  (Read 2278 times)

One of my favorite things lately has been when the Mrs cooks a chicken pot pie, to bring it down the dock the next day and put some smoke to it when reheating.  I planned to cook some pork ribs so bringing out the Upper Deck makes both possible at the same time.  really like this thing for the space it affords you on a 22 inch kettle.

It’s hard to put into words how good Kate’s chicken pot pie is,  especially after giving it the smoke for an hour and a half.

Apparently if you go to Amazon.com they may ship. Originally they would not ship to Canada, but now they do. I just ordered 2 more. Perhaps Amazon would ship to Germany as well.

Amazon wants 25$ for shipping. That's 60$ for the upper deck with shipping. Too much for me. My wife would kill me ;)

Chicken pot pie is one of my all time favorites as well. I'm partial to my wife's too. One time she tried a Paula dean version and I didn't like it at all. I always tell her not to try new recipes on the classics we love and she tells me the same thing about the my dishes on the grill. Neither one of us follow that rule though lol.

That crust on that pie looks incredible, man!
That Upper Deck really does give the 22" so much more room.
