I thought I'd join in
Had this shipped to me a few months ago
Haven't cleaned yet but here it is

If you are able to remove the tape adhesive, let me know how you did it.  I have a kettle with some on the bowl.

WD40 works for goo most of the time

Glen 20 disinfectant spray or eucalyptus spray works really well. Spray leave for ten minutes and wipe clean.
