After cleaning her up I think I'm going to keep her.  Going to bring her home and sit her next to the hybrid red brick 3rd Gen with the metal table.
She's just too pretty to let go.
They'll look nice together-

I really like that red brick with that metal table. Think I'm calling Weber to see if I can get my table replaced with a metal one.

At first I just kinda liked it but it's grown on me a whole bunch.  I won't be selling it unless someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

I was like that with my crimson but now I wouldn't part with it.

Wife said "No more GRILLS in this house!" So I bought a 2nd house!

That's one of the prettiest greens I've seen.  Fantastic cleanup!
Chasing the impossibles: Westerner, Custom, Meat Cut!

Never seen a green like that. Is that a Factory defect.  :) :) :)   Unique to say the least. I like it a lot!

Looking at the pictures I see I could do a better job with the frame.  I barely touched it.  A little soap and water and then Back to Black should make it really pop.

@captjoe06  Congrats on that unique find.   Neither of my Forest green kettles are that "light" or that "bright".   Very special color that year on your SSP.

I've had ad or aquired for friends three other Forest Green SS Performers and none of them were this bright either.  I wonder if this one was called Forest Green or if it was called something else.  I'd call it more like a spruce green.

Based on our history of the Performer(s), the colors offered in Gen 1 include Black, Red, Red Mist, Dark Green, Dark Blue, Plum, and Grey.  No Irish Green or Bright Green or whatever.  If fact, none of the Perf's have ever been issued in other that Forest Green with the exception of the C&B Grass Green.

You got a knock-off, one-of-a-kind, Weber "special" green SSP.   You better hang on to that baby.   Congrat's !!!

I agree. Those metal tables are nice. I'd like to trade mine up too. I think they are around $70 (without fact checking first)
