This I thought was interesting.

The Seville cost US$169.00 in 1967.  In today's dollars that equates to US$1215.00

In Canada it was C $180.00. Today it would would be almost CDN$1600.00

Absolutely mindboggling.  I'd be willing to bet that's why it's still around - It was someone's pride and joy and a huge investment. 

At what point did consumers stop being willing to pay for quality?
