I know it's to each his own, but I can't see myself firing up a bunch of coals for a couple waffles. They're just as good fresh out the freezer. But it's a gadget and I love gadgets but not this one.

Great pictorial and rundown, 6 !

Damn, now I'm thinking of firing up multiple kettles for a big breakfast ... This little waffle gadget (don't have one yet) ...
Plus the Manturion griddle doing up some bacon, eggs, pancakes and homefries ... Heck, I love having breakfast for supper.  8)

This morning  fired up the kettle and fixed french toast on a cast iron griddle.  I never even thought to take photos but it was nice to be outside and making breakfast.
I also have one of the Rome cast iron waffle makers that I like to use, too.

I was thinking desert waffles after the main cooking is over.  Ice cream, whipped cream, grilled peaches.....

@blksabbath , that sounds awesome, just toss a few coals onto whats left?  My kids and I like to make cream chicken on toast now and then. One time I made a savory waffle and put the creamed chicken on it, not bad but toast is better!...lol
