Wow, that looks great. How long did you leave it on for?
Looking for colored 18's and SJ's.

Dang, that looks perfectly cooked!

I have heard, more than once, that Walleye is one of the best tasting freshwater fish.

I wouldn't mind having a fillet or two, right now, to see for myself!

20 minutes. Walleye is 18.99 a lb here. These were caught yesterday

Walleye.. Nothing like it!   We lived on one of the may lakes in Minnesota for 5 years.  Just go out an git ya some!!!

Never had it grilled.  Heading that way in a few days for Vacation.  hmmm.... I thinks me has an Idea!!!

Thanks for posting!!!

Jeff
Lets just say I have acquired a few Kettles.  Big and small.   Vintage and New...  Some say I have a problem.  I find the Kettle, buy the Kettle, USE the Kettle...No problem...

If you are like me, the ones you CATCH are a helluva lot more expensive than $18.99/lb.  ha ha

I like taking the thick "backstraps" out of the 20-23"s eyes we get and cooking them on an alder plank with a sprinkle of weber groumet burger(I think).  The smoke will put a little crust on the fillets and the seasoning adds a little kick.

Looks Great!
Thanks for the post. I will be doing the Kettle "fish fry" this weekend.  Walleye fishing is my passion. I mostly fish lakes Huron and Erie. One day I hope to go West and fish Lake Oahe.

Vortex Walleye! Now why didn't I think of that! I will be trying this ASAP!. @Terry Filarecki Walleye fishing is my passion also. Bass is for guys who can't catch walleye LOL.
May The Smoke Be With You!

Yep love walleye fishing too. Had a guided  trip to Erie planned for early April but the winds were 20+ for the 3 days so we had to cancel. We really want to catch the 30+" pigs to  mount a nice stringer on the wall

Terry Filarecki

I know what you mean about Erie. Every fall I go to Huron Ohio. The size and number of the fish are mind blowing but, the wind and weather can sure ruin the trip. In a typical 4 day trip, we've come to expect at least 2 days sitting on shore!
