Such a cool grill....congrats!  I noticed this weekend when it was really hot that my snake was running a bit hotter than usual due to the direct sunlight on my Red SSP Lid.   Moved an umbrella over it and things returned to normal.  I'd be interested to see if the Ivory kettle has less problems with this....especially for cold smoking cheese during the winter!
