Good weekend
« on: July 03, 2016, 02:21:21 PM »
Had a good run this weekend. Started off smoking a picnic shoulder yesterday. Due to unforeseen circumstances didn't get to eat it until today.  Pretty decent.  One of the circumstances which overcame this cook was a $10 Blue OTG I couldn't pass up.

Today after cleaning up the OTG, I tossed on some spares and let them smoke via the performer and sns.

Amidst all that, my neighbors came across some nice tomatoes at a local farm stand, so we did an impromptu BLT Cook.

To top all that off, my other neighbor had some leftover crabs that he dropped over.

Didn't eat any of the ribs or pulled pork because we were too full on everything else. Guess some leftovers for tomorrow when it's supposed to rain.  I've had a nice weekend so far....

Uh. I want to be your neighbor's neighbor. And yours, too, I guess. But mostly your neighbor's.

Got a pretty good neighborhood vibe.  Perhaps needless to say, but my neighbors regularly partake in whatever we've got cooking. I always get the "what are you cooking" texts when they smell the wood burning.
