Admit it, that color wasn't love at first sight.
« on: March 19, 2013, 07:50:18 PM »
Is there anyone here that absolutely loves a certain color of kettle now that was an acquired taste at first...meaning when you first saw it, you were like, hmmm, not sure about that color, but after seeing more of them over time, stalking, saving pics of them, envy from seeing other grillfellas score one, it's just plain growing on you to where you've got to go get your own? What color was/is it for you?

For me...love at first sight....redheads of course...now the color I had to warm up to, and finally being hit over the head by the cupid color love bug.....YELLOW!. With all the yellows popping up lately it got me thinking, yellow really is a pretty sweet kettle color. It turns orange when hot, it stands out..it goes great with a redhead. Damn it! This doesn't bode well for curing my raging case of the 'Itis. Not that I'm looking for a cure.  ;D

What's your acquired taste? Or whats a color you just havn't gotten into yet?

The Crate-&-Barrel green was a no-go at first.  Hell, I even passed up a Performer on CL over it.  But now???

I still haven't warmed up to the brownies yet.
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

Mmmm.. Brownies!
I guess I havn't quite warmed up to Limes yet, I'm working on it, seems strange since I LOVE avocado kettles. It must be the "two tone" lids that draw me in.

The boobie pink still doesn't do it for me and i'm not growing fond of it in the least. I really like the two tone fades. It took me a while to appreciate them.

Brownies and greys for me.  KenMC's grey is a thing of beauty.  And reds are over rated.
