Time for new grates on 2012 Spirit (side knobs)

Hey guys,
My cheap stamped steel grates have about had it and it's time for something new.

Before I buy, I wanted some opinions though if I should try to get something better than OEM, or perhaps something aftermarket if it exists?

Though I can't remember the exact model number, the Spirit I have is what in my opinion replaced the older Genesis grill, with the side knobs, in fact I think my lid even says "Genesis" cast inside of it.

Whether or not older style Genesis grates fit or not, I have no idea.

Welcome all opinions unless it's to buy a better grill.

Look up the seller rcplanebuyer on Ebay.  He is a metal fabricator that makes HEAVY DUTY stainless steel replacement grates and flavorizer bars for Webers.  I have a set of both on my Genesis and I don't regret the decision for a second.  They are awesome and will outlast the rest of the grill.
