NOS 1998 Go Anywhere Gas.    Picked it up yesterday.

Do I need this?  Ah!  I suppose I can use for tailgating and such -  no messing with carrying charcoals around and no down time heat up or cooling down charcoal.

I got it for $30 including 2 full propane tanks.  Seller says he used it one time, but I would just consider it NOS as it looks new.

This is what I really had in mind -  for my poor rescued 18"

before pic all cleaned up.

after pic

Upgraded to retro cool status.  My DA-code looks just like C-code with spin on ash tray and new handles.

New and improved or downgraded GA-G   Overall, happy with this new found grill

Thanks for looking.

You bought 3 handles at a discount price and the dude threw in a grill and the box.  Not too hard to take.

Handles look great on the 18. Put some spar varnish on them and they will look great for years to come.

I'm sure you aren't the first or last person to pick up a gas WGA for the handles. I've used on for a number of tailgates and it was a nice little grill.

That is exactly how I look at it.  Don't forget 2 free propane gas tanks.  They got to be worth at least $10 here.

I love it when plan fall in place, when I haven't even planed it to happen this way   ;D

Yes, I am hoping to try out GA sometime soon.   Right now, I got my MT and 18" fired up and cooking some Beef Chuck Ribs on MT and all Veggi on 18" for first time cook on it.

Would great for on the go, be it tail gating, or just stopping at a rest stop cross country.

The go anywhere propane is a great little grill. I have one and it was actually my very first weber grill. It serves it purpose... If you you want some quick boneless skinless chicken, go anywhere propane is your guy!
Looking for colored 18's and SJ's.

I have done the same with WGA handles.

FYI... the "legs" on the WGA need to turn another 90 degrees. The round portion of the leg should sit on the ground or table and the bottom of the WGA should rest on the flat part of the leg.

I've got Webers. 10 - WSMs, 5 - 22.5" kettles, 2 - 18.5" kettle, 2 - SJS, 2 - SJP, 4 - WGA, 1 vintage Coolie Pan

I am considering changing out the new (taco shell) style handles on my performer and MT with taco shell removed. Your handles would be my No.1 pick.

I have seen recent pics of your handles on Mac's green performer and MrHoss's yellow 18.  Just beautiful!
I would get finished ones for only few more $.  Your price is really good.

Just for fun, I have worked out what my handles would have cost me.
$30 total= $10 for 2 propane tanks+ 15 for GA-G grill+ $5 for 3 wooden handles.
This is in CAN$, so approx. $1US for each handles.

... No need to nitpick ...
Once you get your hands on Brian's handles ... the price you pay becomes irrelevant.  They are works of art, I say.
