Can you ID this red head 5/20 update: GOT IT!

5/20 update:    1 Gen 1996 two tone Red MT 

Deal was made last night and the family member picked it up for me this morning.  This weekend or mid next week, I will drive 3hrs to pick it up from them.    Just hope that it is as good a condition as the seller mentioned that it was. It does look to be in pristine condition from the pic.  It comes with bags of charcoal, electric charcoal starter, charcoal baskets, condiment rack, and tool holder. 

These never come up for sale in my neck of woods. I can not believe my luck. I am stoked!    It will be nice having 1 and 2'nd Gen MT. 






It looks like a MT.  What year would this be.

I don't have it in my possession yet.  I researched and it looks like 90's.   Correct me if I am wrong.

My next question and important for me is-  is the color same as older vintage bright red or dull crimson red like current original one touch kettle.

Appears to be late 80's to early 90's MasterTouch. Porcelain is bright red w/ fade line. Not brick red (Crimson).

Thanks,   I was in hurry to find out.   More research nets -   first gen is from 92-99 and it is bright red.  Did not know about the fade line.  I am extremely please with the bright color and the fad line.

I won't say much about it till I have it in my possession late this sunday.   I don't want to jinx the deal.  I should have all the details and pics by next monday.
