Are you talking about the backyard basics charcoal ( black bag ), you will be disappointed.

I bought a few bags a while back and it is not   Very good. Doesn't seem to get very hot or maybe it's just me.

I would buy a bag of that and test it against your Kingsford. I could tell the difference, hands down. I still have two bags I'm trying to use for whenever we're grilling hotdogs or some shit. I don't even close the cooker off when I'm done. Just let it burn up.

15.4 lbs for $5 = $0.3246 per lb vs 37.2 lbs for $9.88=$0.2655 per lb.  "Only" about $.05/$.06 per pound difference, but the HD deal is ~20.03% cheaper.

(I think my math is correct on this, but I never was too good in math so someone might want to double check my calculations  ;D

If Lowe's is more convenient for you they also have the same $9.88 deal through the 22nd.

I wasn't saying Walmart was a better deal, I was simply stating you can get the 15lb bags for $5. That's why I asked what size bags, to determine which deal was better.
