Red Fade Performer
« on: April 26, 2016, 04:46:17 PM »
I picked this grill up last fall, it's an EZ date code and after  18
years needed a good cleaning.
And I dressed it up a bit .

Here it was when I got it

Thanks for looking

Man great restore, it looks brand new!
I really like whatever you did to the front panel, looks real sharp!

I think the s/s performers are by far the most timeless.  Great job.

I like that handle style!

Noticed yours also has grey and black square tube plugs too.

The stainless braided line for the igniter wires is a nice touch!

I knew something was different about this one. Sanded off the black paint and clear-coated the the panel?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Beauty! I really dig the front panel!

But she's only 18! Not 28! They don't like it when you add years to them!

The front panel was painted with a metallic flake paint as close to SS as I could find , Im hoping to have a  SS panel made at some point if it's not to spendy . I added new wheels, a new tank, new grill grates and the Braided SS tubing
