What kind of grill is this and what is it worth?

This looks like a portable kitchen grill but I could be wrong. I am thinking about making an offer on it but have no clue as to the value.   Any guidance?

Send the pic to the PKG folks. They'll know;)

It looks like it has a slide out ash catcher, which PKG needs but doesn't have.

I've seen an old Char Broil that looked like that...they cook pretty much like a PK, cool little grill.
As for what it's worth..sorry but I'm no help there. I would offer $25 as a starting point.

Good idea. Although, in the past I have reached out to the PKG guys to ask about a grill and the time it was built and they never provided me any info. It was actually very frustrating.

@tb80 it should be 50% off at an estate sale on Sat.  //// problem is if the grates are gone or roached /// even worse if it's Benn cooked on without a charcoal grate /// good luck

AZ Monsoon

I believe that to be a Char-Broil grill. There should be a stamp on the top when you're able to see it in person.

Thanks everyone. I'm hoping to go check it out today but have a busy day. Plus, I'm not quite as motivated to get it since it is not a Weber.

I have a similar grill I'm restoring..makes a nice cast iron skillet cooker. Mine isn't a PK or a Charbroil. But same cast aluminum design.

True, but the real question is can you make a handle for it?

If I'm not mistaken, the PK opens from the end, not the side.

Other than that I don't know what it is.
I've got Webers. 10 - WSMs, 5 - 22.5" kettles, 2 - 18.5" kettle, 2 - SJS, 2 - SJP, 4 - WGA, 1 vintage Coolie Pan

It is a Char Broil. No idea on age, maybe as far back as mid 70's

Unfortunately kid stuff lasted longer than expected and I wasn't able to go check it out at the estate sale.
